Genitals

Here’s a thing. I’ve seen a number of tumblrists (is that even a word? It shouldn’t be. It’s terrible) hooting about an image that says “I have heels bigger than your dick”, and it’s been kinda playing on my mind.

Because I’m a hypocrite, it a drag queen said it, I’d love it, but because it’s largely young women, it’s been grating me. See, I don’t think the sentiment is purely a statement of fact. Otherwise, it could sometimes read ‘I have heels bigger than the batteries in your remote control’. Basically, it’s an attack on innocent bystanders like me, who get it thrown remotely in my face in this daft virtual plain.

With that, I wondered how those same people would react to a similar jibe. Perhaps if I crowed “I’ve fucked entire continents that aren’t as fat as you!” or maybe “I’ve got 6 year old stilton that doesn’t smell as bad as your arousal” or perhaps “I’ve seen bat that have been put thrown a meat grinder that are tidier than your labia!” - would it be received as well? Would anyone mind?

Fact is, I’m sure they wouldn’t. But it does pose an vaguely interesting point in my head - women have for years, wanted to been less-objectified by men, but regrettably, instead of making us see sense, many have instead, preferred to revert to the behaviour of men when they’re at their worst (ie Belittling women over their hang-ups and appearance). Thoughts?
